Holiday farm: in spring it's better

Yes, it's the ideal destination in the first sunny days in February and March when, sick of a long, cold winter, you want to go out and escape from the town to enjoy the first warmth of spring and breathe the fresh, bracing air of the countryside. This is the best period of the year. The first flowers after the long winter months, the light green of the fields and plants and the chirruping of the birds that seem to announce the imminent arrival of spring.

Visiting a holiday farm you will have the opportunity to enjoy all the aspects of country life.

The wide variety on offer for the tourist means you can spend the whole day in contact with nature. For example on a Sunday morning, a walk along one of the many itineraries that the farms can suggest in the Province of Asti or a visit to a Romanesque church or a castle in the surroundings, then a tasty lunch prepared with the farm’s own produce, following the family traditions handed down from generation to generation. The quality of the raw materials used to prepare our dishes, as well as their fair prices, are the strength of our holiday farms.

In the afternoon, you can relax in the peace and quiet of nature. The visit can also be an important opportunity for you children to learn something new by observing the different varieties of plants and animals.

Ask to visit the working farm which is always associated with our holiday farms. In many cases, it will be possible to buy the products typical of our area: wines, fruit, vegetables, jams, honey and tomato sauces.
If you want to spend the whole weekend in the countryside and take a break from the “ratrace” of life, many holiday farms have bedrooms available for overnight stays.
